He doubted very much now that Vivi would blindly take anything he said as gospel, as irritating a thought as that was, but it still didn't feel right to tout that as fact. It was certainly for the child's sake nevertheless though, he certainly didn't need it refuted.

"I suppose it is." He could argue the opposite perhaps, if he could put his finger on exactly why the thought caused a spike of discomfort. Because he had to take the life of another into account? That had to be it, right? It seemed correct enough, it was if nothing else a large part of it... No, he wouldn't ponder on it any longer. It felt right enough, as ever the thought of leaving Vivi to his own devices here was nothing short of repulsive.
