Almost as if summoned by Gabriel's thoughts, the doorknob rattles and twists as V1 opens the door (for once, instead of climbing through the window like it usually does) and pokes its head in.
Despite it being abundantly obvious that the longer V1 stays here with a steady fuel supply, it not only has a personality but an abhorrent sense of what it considers comedic, it doesn't do anything like turn around when it realizes Gabriel is in the room instead of out also doing whatever, like it's used to him doing.
It glances at him curiously as it wanders over to its side of the room and plops itself down on the bed. After a moment, Gabriel will hear the familiar tap-tap of morse code.
