V1 rolls over with a whirrrr of machinery, looking at Gabriel upside down, still sprawled lazily on the bed. It's half hanging off it now, one wing partially deployed, but it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable with this position at all.

The tapping comes slower this time, as if it's choosing its words more carefully.
