have you heard about the Hit MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV
HELLO FRIENDS WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE A FF14 MINGLE, LET'S DO THAT. Bring your wols and such and go ham. Maybe everyone is crammed into the Waking Sands or something I don't know I'm not your mom/dad/parent.
Or maybe you want to AU other characters into FF14? I'm also not your momdad, you can do that too.
Be mindful of spoilers! Just chuck a note in your subject line if you think it's getting into spoilers territory so other people can be all I Do Not See It.

...I had thought you might be cold. The winters here are a fair bit more frigid than on the Steppes...

He runs his fingers over the seams of the clothing he's been given, his attention given entirely on the details of its make. It's not the same kind of stitching he's used to, but he wonders if it was something she learned from the home she came from, or it was learned later. ]

That she produced any coherent aesthetic from this, in her anxiety-induced haze, is frankly a miracle directly from the Crystal. It's very, uh, colorful.]
Oh! I don't mean to imply you couldn't...but I had the time and materials, I saw no reason not to share.

[ His own designs, compared to hers, are intricate in a more traditional way, unified within the patterns he's lived his whole life with. He decorates his gifts and clothing alike with bright colours and stylized patterns of plants and stars, the stubbornly curled horns of rams and dzo, the flying arrows of archers. To them he adds little touches of his own journey; dark spirals between the stars, white shards of ice, crimson fire, and other things besides, all laid out on canvases of traditional Dazkar brown.
The kaleidoscope he sees before him is more telling of the creator than anything else; it fascinates him. More than once he's wondered at the course of Rosalyn's wandering before they met. ]
This is very mixed. You must have had a long journey.

[She does smile, though. She was never a Xaela, but she took the time to learn the colors, another lifetime ago (and there's a phrase that's haunting her dreams now, isn't it?), and that warm brown seems friendly, for all she hasn't much experience with the Dazkar themselves.
Still, Ankh is such an endlessly warm person, she can't imagine the clan is too unwelcoming to have raised such a man.]
Sometimes it's hard to keep all of it straight.
