Ekkehardt usually wakes up before Gershom, because he is a lich with Things To Do, but apparently not this particular Friday morning. The smell of freshly baking bread wafts in from the direction of the kitchen.]

Last night ran late and high-effort, and he was already low on reserves. It's for this reason that he's not up with his usual brisk early-morning attitude.
When he does wake up, he walks silently as usual. The smell of baking bread and the sound of movement in the kitchen is unusual and thus cause for him to investigate. ]
Good morning, Gershom. Is this a special occasion, or did you just have a spontaneous idea? [ Not that he minds either way. ]

[Here is Gershom in the kitchen wearing the cutest apron he could find. Very important detail.]
When I was young, my family would always make fresh challah every Friday morning. I remember looking forward to waking up to the smell each week - it's one of the few scents I still remember well.
[Even though he can't smell anything right now, he remembers what it should smell like, and the warm memories associated with it.]
VATA'SHA ARE JUST DROW WITH THE SERIAL NUMBERS FILED OFF
Yeah, Vasily doesn't really think so either, but they're casually going to just sashay all six feet of themselves in and start rifling through shelves and any desks they find, I'm sure this will be very well recieved.]

What business do you have here.
[ Kimmuriel steps through the wall, not even bothering with the door. He simmers with psionic power, like water on the verge of boiling, holding it tight around him like a cloak.
They couldn't be more different in their statures. Vasily is willowy and tall, a more fitting embodiment of the oft-sung about beauty of elvenkind; Kimmuriel is scrawny and plain and short, with his unremarkable features marking him as yet another oddity among his own people. ]

Psychically, they're the equivalent of a coiled viper. They're aware of a vast difference in power between themself and Kimmuriel, and it has instantly made them wary, but this doesn't show on Vasily's face. Instead, they look a bit like a cat caught with a paw in the treat jar.]
Ah, I beg your pardon...[They'll just. Close that desk drawer? carefully put papers back in a neat stack. See? Hands where you can see them! ] I appear to be quite lost. I don't suppose you have a map here?

He separates true threat from whimsy. Whimsy, he can tolerate; such small attempts are like a raindrop in a lake to him. He eases off on his immediate defenses, just a little. ]
...I have one. [ He retrieves the map of Toril from its case leaning against the wall, unrolling it so he can lay it out on the desk. ]
You got here because you were lost, you said? [ Perhaps some kind of planar traveler? Not unheard of, especially with such strong psionic potential, he supposes. Odder things have happened. ]

I--[They stare down at it, eyes wide. Planar travel is all but a certainty but, forgive them, that was not something they had on their list of "things that could happen today" when they woke up this morning.]
What? You're--you're quite certain this map is correct? I...[They laugh, a little shakily, but touch their fingers to the map, trying to read into the past of the object itself. Ascertain it was made truthfully and not as a terrible prank. Ignore the mild nosebleed, they won't drip on your map, it's fine.]
I am quite lost, it seems.

It is an accurate map of Toril, as far as I am aware. But I would hazard a guess that you are not from Toril at all, so it likely looks unfamiliar to you.

I have never in all my studies heard of 'Toril'...
[They step back a bit to wipe their nose with the back of their hand so it doesn't drip on the desk. Some on the floor, sure, whatever, they can just buy them a new rug.]
Aldea's not even on this, nor nothing that looks like this. I am...not sure how this came do be so. Ahh, forgive me, I had hoped you were joking.
